BHG Research Library – database interim issue

January 19, 2021RPD38191ddBNEBHG

After an interval of four years the research library is once again available to researchers.

The books are back on the shelves, maps in their hanging cabinet, and the database updated to reflect the digitisation project. Fingers crossed the two may even be aligned when it comes to finding the item you may be searching for.

The database is in Microsoft Access format, quite a large file, so to make it more easily accessible a slimmed down PDF version has been prepared for reference and interrogation at home or in the office. Two files have been prepared, one covering the hard copy items and one the digitised material. Click the  highlighted text, download and save the document to your device. For those not familiar with Acrobat Reader it has a useful search facility (microscope with three dots) in the tool bar, click it and the Find box will appear. Using single words, names, dates etc seems to yield the best results.

Whilst useful, not every single item or the contents of books/journals has been listed, so browsing the shelves is still a good option. Standard reference library rules apply.

The BHG Research Library is at Shop 10, Riverhills Plaza, 20 Bogong Street, Riverhills, QLD 4074 (off Sumners Road). Regular opening times are planned to be Tuesday and Thursday mornings but check beforehand bhgresearchlibrary@gmail.com
